kexec-tools software package provides tools to support fast kexec reboots, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kexec-tools
kexec-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kexec-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kexec-tools *
You will get with kexec-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
